Pathway Requirements

1. Pre-Calculus or Above Graduate high school having taken pre-calculus at the high school or college level or beyond. This level of math is essential to completing the pathway program within the stated timeline.

2. Submit a Transfer Application Submit a fall transfer application by the deadline on March 1. You may change your major when applying for transfer through this pathway as long it is a major within the Colleges of Design, Liberal Arts, or Sciences.

1. Satisfy Course Requirements Complete a minimum of 30 semester hours (or 45 quarter credits) at a U.S. regionally accredited college AND complete the minimum course requirements for your intended major by the course requirement deadline for the application term you select.

1. Submit Your Transcript Submit official transcript(s) from all prior colleges by the document deadline. An official transcript with final spring grades will also be required by June 1.

1. Meet GPA Requirements You must earn a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher and a combined math/lab science GPA of 3.3 or higher. The cumulative GPA includes coursework taken at all colleges and/or universities attended. The math/lab science GPA includes a combination of mathematics courses at the calculus level and higher along with all-natural science courses including both lecture and laboratory components.

1. Submit Your Portfolio (Music Technology applicants only) Applicants to Music Technology must submit a portfolio for review by faculty as part of their application. Approval of the portfolio is also required for admission to this program. If your portfolio is not approved and you meet all other criteria of the APS Transfer Pathway, you will have the opportunity to enroll at Georgia Tech in your secondary major.
